Facial Harmonization in Cuenca
Balance your facial features with hyaluronic acid fillers, using a conservative approach and a prior medical aesthetic assessment.

Balance, not transformation. Facial harmonization in Cuenca at Jenny Vera Spa uses hyaluronic acid fillers to correct disproportions, restore lost volume and define contours, always after a medical aesthetic assessment and with a conservative principle: the result should look like you, well rested.
What facial harmonization is
It is a set of procedures using hyaluronic acid, a substance the body produces naturally and that is gradually reabsorbed. Unlike Botox, which relaxes muscles, fillers add volume and structure: they fill a fold, project a chin, define a contour or hydrate the lips from within.
It is not about placing product in many areas. It is about identifying the two or three points that throw the face off balance and treating only those.
Areas we treat
- Lips: hydration, border definition and correction of asymmetries.
- Tear trough: improves the look of hollow under-eyes and a tired gaze.
- Nasolabial folds: softens the lines between nose and mouth.
- Chin and jawline: adds projection and defines the profile.
- Non-surgical nose reshaping: corrects the nasal profile without surgery.
Benefits
- Balances facial proportions while respecting your features.
- Restores volume in the areas that lose it with age.
- Visible results from the first session, and reversible.
- Combines well with Botox, biostimulation and skin quality treatments.
Our approach: conservative, in two stages
We would rather do too little and adjust afterwards. In the first session we place a moderate amount, bring you back after two weeks — once the product has settled and swelling has gone down — and only then decide whether more is needed.
This is a medical aesthetic procedure: it requires individual facial assessment, traceable product and precise technique. During your assessment we review your medical history, rule out contraindications and explain which result is realistic in your case and which is not.
For Cuenca's expat community
Cuenca is home to a large expat community and we love welcoming it. We guide you in English through the entire process, explain exactly which product we use, and accept international credit and debit cards. Many of our patients compare prices with the United States before deciding, and we are happy to walk you through the differences.
Not sure what your face actually needs? Book your assessment at our Cuenca clinic and we will design a realistic plan made for you.
Frequently asked questions
What is facial harmonization and which areas does it cover?+
It is a set of medical aesthetic procedures using hyaluronic acid fillers to balance your facial proportions rather than change your face. The most common areas are lips, tear trough (under-eye hollows), nasolabial folds, chin, jawline and nose profile. The plan is defined during your assessment, based on your anatomy and your goal.
How long do hyaluronic acid fillers last?+
Between 8 and 18 months depending on the area, the product and your metabolism. Lips tend to absorb faster than chin or jawline. At your follow-up we assess how your case is evolving and decide when a touch-up makes sense, always avoiding overcorrection.
Will the result look natural or overdone?+
It depends entirely on dosage and technique. Our approach is conservative: we prefer to start with less product, review the result after two weeks and adjust only if needed. The goal is for you to look rested and balanced, not for the treatment to be noticeable.
Does it hurt and how much downtime do I need?+
We use topical anesthetic and most products contain lidocaine, so discomfort is mild. There may be swelling or some bruising during the first days, especially in lips and under-eyes. Most people resume their routine the same day following the aftercare instructions we provide.
Do you speak English, and can I pay by card?+
Yes, English spoken. We welcome many foreign residents and visitors in Cuenca and can guide you in English through the entire assessment and procedure. We accept credit and debit cards, including international ones.
